RISING IN HER HONOR

Tricia was born in Stanford Hospital in 1982. She grew up with six siblings, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She was a student at St. Joseph's, presently known as Sacred Heart Schools. She was passionate about cooking and all sports. Throughout middle school and high school she received several MVP awards for her phenomenal performance in volleyball. She attended American University and studied marketing. After college, she moved back to California and lived in Marin. She always loved being around family, but especially her nieces and nephews. She was always known as the “fun” aunt. Tricia was such a vibrant person to be around, she had the ability to light up a room from her presence alone. Her kindness radiated to everyone she surrounded herself with. The world was a better place with her in it and she is missed everyday.

Join us for an inspiring day of connection and purpose in honor of Tricia’s remarkable legacy. This event celebrates her passion for sports, friendship, and giving back by uniting young athletes, families, and supporters in a meaningful and uplifting experience.

We’ll come together for a thoughtfully designed community workout that promotes connection, strength, and a shared purpose. This special gathering is also a fundraiser to support a brighter future for student-athletes overcoming financial challenges. Together, we honor Tricia’s memory, raise awareness about domestic violence, and inspire young people to dream boldly, forge meaningful connections, and reach their greatest potential.

FOR AUNT TRICIA:

STRENGTH IN THE SKY

Dear Family, Friends & Community,

The topic of domestic violence is one that holds deep significance for me and my entire family. Four years ago, we experienced a heartbreaking loss when my aunt Tricia's life was taken by domestic violence. Her vibrant spirit, love for sports, passion for making new friends, and dedication to building community left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

To honor Tricia’s legacy, I with the support of my parents and sister, chose to create Tricia’s Valkyries—something that embodies her essence and continues her impact in a meaningful way. She was one of my favorite people, someone I would go to whenever I had big news. Her love for sports and kids was something that made her such a lively spirit to be around. She was the perfect emulation of what it means to put others before herself. Our hope with Tricia’s Valkyries is to spread awareness about domestic violence and teach young girls that they can stand up for themselves. Tricia was such an important piece of my family and honoring her in the form of teaching and helping others is exactly what she would've done if she was still here.

On January 11th 2025, we are honored to host an event that is a true labor of love, crafted to reflect Tricia's energy and joy for life. Thanks to the incredible partnership with the LEMO Foundation and their dedicated team, we’ve created a platform to inspire and empower student-athletes. LEMO’s mission is to ensure every young athlete, regardless of financial circumstances, can dream big and realize their full potential.

Through Tricia's Valkyries, we’re proud to extend that mission. Together, we aim to uplift even more young people, champion their dreams, and remind them—and ourselves—that no obstacle is too great to overcome.

This is more than an event; it’s a powerful celebration of resilience, connection, and the transformative strength of community. It’s a tribute to a life that continues to inspire, creating opportunities for others to rise and thrive. Tricia’s light shines brightly in every life we touch, fueling a legacy of hope and empowerment.
